Standard product

The mortise latch with turn handles and two plates, GSV-No. 3269 A, is a precision-engineered locking solution designed for thin yacht doors where secure and ergonomic operation is essential. Constructed from high-quality brass, the latch offers excellent mechanical stability, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability, making it ideal for marine environments exposed to humidity, salt air, and frequent use. The brass construction ensures both functional reliability and an attractive finish that integrates seamlessly into yacht interiors.
This mortise latch is suitable for doors with a thickness of 28–36 mm, with custom adaptations available on request for other door thicknesses. The standard configuration includes two through bolts M5, which provide secure attachment and precise alignment during installation. Its design allows for use on both left- and right-hand doors, offering installation flexibility and reducing the need for multiple versions.
The lock is equipped with a thumbturn and two plates that are fixed yet turnable, enabling ergonomic and convenient operation from both sides of the door. The included strike plate ensures proper alignment of the latch and provides stable engagement for reliable locking. The mortise construction allows the latch to be recessed neatly into the door leaf, preserving a flush surface while maintaining mechanical stability.
The GSV-No. 3269 A mortise latch combines robust brass construction, precise design, and ergonomic turn handles to deliver a technically sophisticated, durable, and user-friendly locking solution. It is ideally suited for thin yacht doors, offering long-lasting performance, flexible installation, and reliable security for maritime applications.
