The ventilation set combination GSV-No. 5786 / 5788 S002 provides an advanced solution for airflow in fire dampers. It consists of a ventilation slider made of galvanized, chromated steel (GSV-No. 5786) and two ventilation plates made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a 320 grit finish (GSV-No. 5788). This combination of steel and stainless steel ensures excellent resistance to corrosion and extreme environmental conditions. The gear is suitable for doors with a thickness of up to 50 mm.
A standout feature of this Ventilation set combination is the integrated fusible link, which activates at temperatures of 72°C. In the event of a fire, the fusible link melts under direct heat, releasing the tension in the springs, which then securely close the ventilation slider. This function guarantees that the ventilation sliding gear responds reliably in a fire situation, effectively preventing the spread of fire and smoke.
The ventilation set combination is ideal for use in fire dampers with airflow capacities of 150 cm², 200 cm², 300 cm², or 400 cm², meeting the highest standards of safety and functionality. It is particularly suitable for shipbuilding and other demanding applications where both efficient ventilation and high fire protection are required.
