The short plate round with cylinder hole GSV-No. 6643 ZK / 2 is a precisely engineered fitting designed for doors equipped with rim locks and mortise locks, providing a reliable solution where cylinder protection and durability are required. This model is available in two high-quality materials: brass and stainless steel 304. Brass combines a classic appearance with corrosion resistance and long-term durability, making it ideal for interior applications or doors with traditional design requirements. Stainless steel 304 is highly resistant to mechanical stress, abrasion, and environmental influences, making it particularly suitable for heavily used doors or areas exposed to moisture.
The plate features a precisely manufactured cylinder hole to ensure a secure fit for standard profile cylinders, enabling smooth and reliable lock operation. Two distancing options are offered to accommodate different lock types: 75 mm, suitable for both rim locks and mortise locks, and 72 mm, specifically designed for mortise locks only. This versatility allows the plate to be applied in a wide range of door and lock configurations.
A key feature is the integrated stainless steel spring-loaded folding cover, which protects the cylinder against splash water and other environmental factors. The cover opens easily during operation and returns automatically to its protective position, enhancing the cylinder’s lifespan and maintaining functional reliability even under challenging conditions.
The round design of the short plate ensures uniform distribution of mechanical forces across the door surface, supporting stable installation and long-lasting performance.
