The strike plate GSV-No. 316 SB is a high-quality, precision-engineered component designed for use with mortise locks that feature both a latch and a deadbolt. Manufactured from stainless steel 316L (material number 1.4404), also known as A4 or V4A stainless steel, it offers exceptional corrosion resistance, high strength, and long-term durability. This makes it particularly suitable for demanding applications, including exterior doors, coastal environments, humid or wet areas, and industrial settings where standard steels would be prone to corrosion or wear.
The standard version of the GSV-No. 316 SB features a lip (or tongue) length of 29 mm, which is compatible with most conventional mortise lock systems. On request, customized lengths or special dimensions can be produced to meet specific installation requirements or bespoke door configurations. The strike plate is carefully machined to ensure precise alignment of both the latch and the deadbolt, allowing smooth engagement and reliable locking performance. Accurate mounting holes and edges ensure straightforward installation and a secure fit within the door frame without compromising the mechanical integrity of the lock.
The finely finished surface of the stainless steel strike plate not only provides an attractive appearance but also enhances its resistance to environmental stress and mechanical wear.
